Dr. Jennifer R. Gallagher

Jennifer R. Gallagher, M.D., specializes in diseases and surgery of the retina and practices at the Southwest Retina Specialists office.

She is originally from Houston, but moved to Canyon to play softball for West Texas A&M University. Upon completing her collegiate softball career, she began working as a technician at Southwest Retina, where she found great mentors and developed a passion for pursuing a career in Vitreoretinal Surgery. After completing her medical training, she returned to our community, hoping to provide comprehensive and compassionate care for her patients while working alongside Drs. Aragon and Ysasaga.

When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family—four children and three dogs—participating in her church’s small group, watching sports, and staying active.
